Trick-knife Puzzle

Trick-knife puzzles usually employ a folding knife with unusual or hidden mechanics that stops it from opening. Such a knife is called a trick-knife. Trick-knives have a long history and are among the oldest puzzles known. Originally the secret mechanism might have been designed to make sure that the knife was not immediately useful when taken from the owner in a fight.
