Triangle Metro Zoo

Triangle Metro Zoo is a small privately operated zoo, just North of Raleigh, North Carolina. The zoo has only been open to the public since 2000 and originated from the owner's long experience in breeding exotic animals. It is beautifully situated in a heavily forested area astride a small stream. The zoo breathes a relaxed and informal atmosphere and allows close contact with many animals to children in its petting zoo. The "triangle" name comes from the nearby Research Triangle Park.
