tretat is located on the coastline of the Pays de Caux area.

Miscellaneous

tretat is best known for its cliffs, including a famous natural arch. These cliffs and the associated resort beach attracted artists including Eugne Boudin, Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet. tretat was the birthplace of lie Halvy (1870-1937), philosopher and historian.
