tres cantos

Tres Cantos is a small town of about 30,000 inhabitants, located in the autonomous community of Madrid, Spain 23 kilometers north of Madrid by Autovia M-607. The new community was established only in the 1970s as part of Colmenar Viejo and was designated as a separate city in the 1980s. Like the city itself, the people of Tres Cantos are also (as of 2005) much younger than the Spanish national average.

Tres Cantos is a sister city to the planned cities of Columbia, Maryland, United States and Cergy-Pontoise, France
