Treaty Of Crdoba

The Treaty of Crdoba gave Mexico independence from Spain at the conclusion of the Mexican War of Independence. It was signed on August 24 1821 in Crdoba, Veracruz, Mexico. The signatories were Mexican insurgent Agustn de Iturbide and, acting on behalf of the Spanish king Ferdinand VII, Juan de O'Donoj. See also: Plan de Iguala.
