Trapt

Trapt is a Nu Metal band from Los Gatos, California, United States. The band formed in the mid-nineties, recording DIY CDs they sold at local gigs. In 1998 the group split up with the members graduated high school, and left to attend college. They were reunited in 2000 when they dropped out of college and moved to Los Angeles to work on their music together. Trapt signed to Warner Bros. in late 2001 and released their first studio album, Trapt, in 2002. It contained the hits "Headstrong" and "Still Frame". The current lineup consists of:
  • Chris Brown: vocals and guitar
  • Simon Ormandy: lead guitar
  • Peter Charell: bass
  • Aaron Montgomery: drums
