Transmitter Monte Ceneri

The transmitter Monte Ceneri is the nationwide transmitter for Italian speaking Switzerland, working on 558 kHz. It is in service since 1933 and has nowadays a transmission power of 300 kilowatts. As aerial a guyed steel framework mast is used, which is insulated against ground. It was built in the seventies and it belongs to Switzerland's tallest constructions.
