Transmitter Golm

The Transmitter Golm was a mediumwave broadcasting facility near Golm, Potsdam, Germany. It was established in 1948 and used originally a 100 metre high free standing lattice tower of wood as transmission tower. This tower was latter replaced by a guyed steel framework mast and demolished by blasting on October 25th, 1979. In 1993 the transmitter Golm was completely shut down. List of towers
