Trans International Airlines

Trans International Airlines was a US airline. It was formed in 1948 as Los Angeles Air Services, it adopted its present name in 1960. The airline was acquired in 1968 by Transamerica Corporation. In December 1976 it absorbed Saturn Airways. In October 1979 the airline was renamed TransAmerica Airlines. The airline ceased operations on September 30, 1986. Trans International Airlines now survives as a virtual airline for Microsoft Flight Simulator enthusiasts. See it at: www.transinternationalairlines.com
