Traditional Britain GroupThe Traditional Britain Group was established in 2001 following the disbanding of the almost defunct Western Goals Institute. It is dedicated to a traditional Britain in every respect and so is ultra-conservative in outlook. It received the mailing lists from the old WGI and has had others passed to it. It is understood that its mailings exceed 1000 although the number of paid up members and supporters is small - almost certainly much less than half of that. The group publishes an occasional newsletter, usually bi-annual, which carries right-wing articles opposing the EU, immigration etc. On its Executive Committee are Gregory Lauder-Frost and Stuart Millson, amongst others, both well-known for their ultra-Tory stances. There is a part-time secretary. The group holds an annual Traditional Britain Dinner. Last year's event was at Simpson's-in-the-Strand and their Guest-of-Honour was the much celebrated Tony Martin, the Norfolk farmer who shot two burglars who had broken into his farmhouse. A line-up of the right-wing turned out including Derek Turner, editor of the magazine "Right Now!", Mike Smith, Chairman of the rebel Conservative Democratic Alliance, Andrew Moffat, who stood for UKIP at the last general election, Adrian Davies, the barrister who is Chairman of the fledgling Freedom Party, John Gouriet, a founder of the Freedom Association, and even David Irving the controversial historian.
