Tonyukuk

Tonyukuk (died c. 724 AD) was the grand vizier and Commander-in-Chief of four Kokturk khans (king), the best known of whom is Bilge Khan. He played a major role in the revival of local Turkic tribes and establishment of the Kokturk state. His brief life history, achievements and advices for state administration were carved in Orkhon inscriptions located near the Orhon River.
