Tom Shadyac

=Tom Shadyac: Biography= Tom Shadyac was born in 1960. He moved to Los Angeles at age 23 and became the youngest joke writer ever for comedian Bob Hope. Shadyac received his master's degree in film from UCLA in 1989 after completing the critically acclaimed short, "Tom, Dick and Harry". He then began directing (and occasionally writing) for FOX. Shadyac has also produced some standup comedy, seen occasionally guest starring in some TV series. Tom Shadyac has, since then, become a well-reknowned comedy producer, director and writer.

Tom Shadyac is a well-reknowned comedy producer, director and writer. He is mostly famous for his partnership with the comedian actor Jim Carrey. His hit films with Carrey include the recent Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, and the movie series. He also collaborated with Eddie Murphy to write The Nutty Professor movie series. He also produced Patch Adams starring Robin Williams and Dragonfly with Kevin Costner. He is also the executive producer to the ABC TV series "8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter."
