Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 (also known as Ghost Recon 2) was originally announced in a Ubisoft press release dated April 8, 2004, and was released in North America for the Xbox video game console on November 30, 2004. It will be released for the PlayStation 2 on December 30, 2004 and reach the GameCube and Windows-based PC by spring 2005. It is a sequel to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. The general setting is the Korean Peninsula, however the PS2 and Xbox platforms feature different campaigns. The PS2 campaign occurs in 2007, while the Xbox campaign is set in 2011. Ghost Recon 2 sports an updated graphics engine, the Havok 2 physics engine, a more personalized selection of squad mates, new multiplayer options, and more.
