TokijinTōkijin, in the anime and manga InuYasha, is a possessed sword forged from the fangs of Goshinki, Naraku's detachment, at the request of Sesshomaru (Sesshōmaru). When Goshinki attacked a village at the orders of Naraku, he encountered Inuyasha. Using his ability to read minds, he countered Inuyasha's every attack, and eventually seized the Tessaiga in his fangs and shattering it into pieces. Though InuYasha was near death, the absence of the Tessaiga allowed InuYasha's yōkai blood to take over, making it so Goshinki was unable to read Inuyasha's mind and allowing him to be easily slaughtered. Sesshormaru accquired the head of Goshiniki and brought it to Kaijinbo (Kaijinbō), an old apprentice of Totosai (Tōtōsai). He orderd Kaijinbo to forge him a sword from the fangs that broke the Tetsesaiga. Kaijinbo told Seeshormaru that he could not make a sword from the fangs because the demon was dead. So Sesshormaru drew his great sword, the Tenseiga, and brought the head back to life. The sword bore the hatred of Goshinki, and upon completion, it possessed Kaijinbo to kill Jaken, and then went after Inuyasha. The Tokijin was an equal match for the new Tessaiga, which had become quite heavy. In the end, Kaijinbo's own body could not hold up against the power of the Tokijin and the aura of the Tessaiga and was destroyed. Sesshomaru, having revived Jaken with the Tenseiga, went to claimed Tokijin for himself. When Sesshomaru arrived to claim the sword, Totosai warned him not to touch the sword for even he would be possessed by it's power. Sesshomaru laughed at his warning and drew the sword, using his own power to dissapate the sword's evil aura. He them tested the new sword on Inuyasha. Sesshomaru was able to use Tokijin to knock the Tessaiga away from Inuyahsa and witnessed his transformation into a full demon. Totosai intervened, ending the battle before Inuyasha could fully transform. The Tokijin appears to be a match for the Tessaiga and the Tensaiga in power. Special Attacks - Demon Aura: The sword has to ability to possess anyone not strong enough to control the aura. If controlled, the aura can be manipulated and be forced towards an opponent, forcing them away from the sword and causing them great pain. It also has the power to cut an opponent to pieces without even touching them.
