Tobas Hernndez

Rafael Tobas Hernndez Alvarado (born August 24, 1953), commonly known as "Toby Hernndez", is a former Major League Baseball catcher and right-handed batter who played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1984. A native from Calabozo, Gurico State, Venezuela), Hernndez was a top catching prospect in the Jays organization, but after a long history of injuries he was able to reach the majors just at 31. In his brief stint with Toronto, Hernndez hit .500 hitter (1-for2) with one run in three games.
