Tl-Universit, sometimes abbreviated to Tluq, is the first French language distance education university in the world and the only one in North America. With approximately 40 professors, Tluq has a number of programs, including diplomas in computer science, education, and management. It is currently being merged with the Universit du Qubec Montral, a process which should be complete by 2005. Tl-Universit is a partner with the Canadian Virtual University.
