tjandamurra o'shane

Tjandamurra O'Shane (born 1962) is an aborigine who was a victim of a vicious racial attack at the age of six. O'Shane was burned on 70 percent of his body while playing in a Cairns, Australia school. O'Shane was critically injured by the gasoline attack, and he had to spend a long period recuperating at a Brisbane hospital. His attack made worldwide headlines; it was one of a number of attacks that brought awareness about racism against aboriginal people in Australia. Lionel Rose, the first Aborigine world champion boxer in history, presented O'Shane with his world bantamweight title belt right after losing the world championship to Ruben Olivares.
