. A bassist, she combined the minimalist art-punk basslines of groups such as

Talking Heads
signature sound. She also participated in
Tom Tom Club
, a Talking Heads side-project with
Chris Frantz
. She has been married to Frantz since
1977
, and they have two sons together.
