Timothy Sainsbury

The Right Honourable Sir Timothy Alan Davan Sainsbury (born June 11, 1932) is a politician and businessman in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Sainsbury supermarket chain-owning family (son of Alan John Sainsbury), and was a member of the board from 1962 to 1983. He was Conservative Member of Parliament for Hove from 1973 to 1997, and served as a junior minister. His daughter, Camilla is married to Shaun Woodward, an MP who defected from the Tories to Labour, and he is a patron of the Tory Reform Group. He also has sons, James and Alex .
