Tiga

Texas Instruments Graphics Architecture A graphics interface standard by Texas Instruments that defines the software interface to graphics processors. Using this standard any software written for TIGA should work correctly on a TIGA compliant graphics interface card. The interface is independent of resolution or colour depth allowing for a degree of future-proofing when the standard was created. In reality TIGA (which was intended for high end cards) wasn't a success - instead VESA Super VGA becoming the main standard for PC graphics devices after the VGA. Texas Instrument's TI 34010 and TI 34020 are examples of TIGA compliant graphics processors. PPC_060 was a well-known TIGA cards manufactured by Number Nine Visual Technology.
