Three Wheeler

  Tricycle
Three Wheelers are 3 wheeled vehicles that are either "People Powered Vehicles" (PPV) or motorised vehicles in the form of a motorcycle or car. Other names for 3-wheelers include, Trikes, Tricars and Cyclecars. Many 3-wheelers that exist in the form of motorcycle based machines are often called Trikes and often have the front single wheel and mechanics from a motorcycle and the rear axle from a car. Other trikes include "All Terrain Vehicles" (ATV) that are specially constructed for off road use. 3-wheelers in car form are often built for economy reasons, or as was the case in the UK, to take advantage of tax advantages. 3-wheeled cars can have either one wheel at the back and two at the front ie Morgan_Motor_Company or one wheel at the front and two at the back ie Reliant. As a result of their light construction, 3-wheeled cars are very economical to run.
