Three Kinds Of Objects

In Buddhist Yogācāra theory, objects of consciousness can be divided into three categories according to their properties. These are:
  • things which are truly manifested from (ālaya) seeds;
  • things provisionally manifested from a subjective view;
  • things that exist in relation to the above two.
