three's a crowd

Short-lived television sitcom spinoff of Three's Company, starring John Ritter. Based on the British TV series Robin's Nest. In this series, Jack Tripper from "Three's Company" is living with his girlfriend Vicky Bradford, but her father doesn't approve of him and is constantly trying to disrupt their relationship. The show didn't last long because viewers felt that the show was unoriginal and humorless. In addition, many fans of the original "Three's Company" felt that Jack should have married Janet Wood at the end of the series and didn't watch the spinoff at all.
