The Wrestling ChannelThe Wrestling Channel (TWC) is the world's first dedicated professional wrestling television channel, showing many different promotions from the wrestling spectrum. The channel which launched on March 15, 2004, is Free-To-Air via the Eutelsat Eurobird 1 satellite across Europe and carried via the Sky_Digital television platform on EPG channel number 427, though it does not require a subscription to Sky to view this service. Programming includes Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), NWA Wildside, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Ring Of Honor (ROH), Total Nonstop Action (NWA TNA), classic World of Sport and The Bagpipe Report - their own weekly pro-wrestling TV magazine show with the latest wrestling news and interviews. Originally, the channel aired one hour teaser programming for a month on December 1, 2003, via Friendly TV to test the audience and engage feedback. This was extened for another month starting on February 2, 2004. Some selected programming was simultaneously broadcast on both channels when TWC launched outright. On 25 October 2004, The Wrestling Channel Reloaded (TWC Reloaded) was launched as a sister channel featuring action from their library, whilst experimenting with new shows, promotion screen testers and schedule formats. On the 21st March 2005, TWC Reloaded closed down, after having it's broadcasting hours cut to just three hours per night.
