The Thin Man Goes Home

In The Thin Man Goes Home, Nick (William Powell) and Nora (Myrna Loy) Charles (with their dog Asta) leave their kindergartner son at home in new York while they go visit Nick's parents in Sycamore Springs, the town where he grew up, and of course a murder mystery crops up there. This is the fifth of the six "Thin Man" movies about Dashiell Hammett's dapper private detective and his wealthy wife -- this one was released in 1944, ten years after the first one.
