The Stills

The Stills are a Canadian rock band. The four band members: Tim Fletcher, Dave Hamelin, Greg Paquet and Oliver Crowe, have known each other since around the age of 12 and played in various bands prior to forming the Stills in 2000. The band is from Montreal, Quebec, but found fame outside of the underground, when they moved to New York City. They began working on an EP entitled Rememberese EP which was released on June 17, 2003. Their debut album Logic Will Break Your Heart was released the following year, and touring with Interpol and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs gained them a steady following. The Stills' sound has been compared to the likes of Joy Division, The Smiths and Echo and the Bunnymen.
