The Stems

The Stems formed in Perth, Western Australia in 1983 and played music that was heavily influenced by 1960s garage rock and 1970s power pop. The band broke up in 1987 but had a reunion in 2003. They released a number of singles on the Citadel label including "Tears Me In Two" before releasing and album on a major label. Members included Dom Mariani (who would later go on to form DM3) and Dave Shaw.
