The Silver SequenceThe Silver Sequence is a newly wriiten trilogy by an English author called Cliff Mcnish. There are at this moment 2 books in this sequence but a third book is planned to come out soon. The first book is called Silver Child. In this book, there is a group of "special" gifted children who are chosen to help in a big fight that they can feel coming. The first chosen child in a boy named Milo, Milo undergoes a transformation that turns him into a Silver child. The transformation is painful, but by the end of it Milo has grown very large and has grown wings. He flies up into the sky and is known as "the protector" as his great form covers the whole town of Coldharbour. The second child to join Milo during his transformation is called Thomas, he is given a "beauty" which is a force that he can release into hurt children and heal them, and help them in their pains, Thomas gives Milo almost all of his "beauty" during his transformation, this almost kills him. The next children to come to Coldharbor are Emily and Freda, they are twins and the "gift" that they have gained is that they walk extremely fast on their hands and feet, making them extremely agile. The next child to come is Walter, his "gift" is that he has grown to an enormous height, he is a giant. The final gifted child to join the group is known as Helen, her gift is that she can read minds. Together this group of children find out that there is a huge creature coming, "the beast" who is going to attack the earth and the reason they have these gifts is to call all the children in the world and fight the beast. The second book in the sequence is called Silver City (book) and the third, soon to be released is called Silver World.
