The Rubettes

The Rubettes were a British pop band of the 1970s. Hailing from Southend on Sea in Essex, they were considered by some to be 'bandwagon jumpers' on the tail end of the glam rock movement, wearing trademark white suits and cloth caps on stage. They had several hits that made the top ten of the British charts, including "Sugar Baby Love" and "Juke Box Jive". They were also extremely popular throughout Europe.
