The Principles Of Philosophy

Principia Philosophiae (also known as The Principles of Philosophy) is a book Ren Descartes wrote. Elzevier in Amsterdam first published Principia in the Latin language in 1644. In 1647, Henry le Gras in Paris published the book in the French language under the title Les principes de la philosophie, escrits en Latin par Ren Des-Cartes et traduits en Franois par un de ses amis. The 1647 version introduced some new ideas not contained in the 1644.
