The Number Painter

The Number Painter, also known as the Mad Painter, was a character on Sesame Street. He appeared in a total of ten skits, often repeat in episodes. The character was played by Paul Benedict (The Jeffersons). A list of his sketches:

Mac was the name of the bald guy who had an 8 painted on his head. He also was the sailboat owner, one of the elevator passengers, the guy who wound up with a 10 on himself when he got up off his stool, the road cleaner, and the guy who cleaned the 11 off the window. Stockard Channing (The West Wing) appeared on some Painter films, playing the lady at the picnic, the woman holding the umbrella, another elevator passenger and the nurse saying "Next" to her patients.
