The Nature Of Things

The Nature of Things is a Canadian television series which presents episodes examing natural science. It debuted on the CBC on November 6, 1960. Since 1979, it has been hosted by Dr. David Suzuki. Other past hosts included: Donald Crowdis, Patterson Hume, Donald Ivey and Lister Sinclair. The series has won many awards and Suzuki has won 3 Gemini Awards and 1 ACTRA Award as Best Host. The show is named after a poem by Roman philosopher Lucretius: "De Rerum Natural"-"On the Nature of Things."
