The Moon and Antarctica is the third full-length album recorded by the indie rock band Modest Mouse, and their first on a major label. The album was released by Epic Records on June 13 2000, on both Compact Disc and vinyl LP. The Moon and Antarctica was recorded at Clava Studio in Chicago, Illinois (except for track #10), and produced and mixed by Brian Deck.
