The Meteors

The Meteors are a psychobilly band from the United Kingdom, formed in the 1980s. They are often considered the originators of the psychobilly genre. They released an album, Psychobilly, with the following tracks:

The Meteors were also a teenage band in the 1960s. They formed in Manchester early in the decade. The band broke up when the lead singer moved to Australia, but two of the members reunited in the late 1990s. They have recorded a new album, which is due out in 2003.
