The London Prodigal

The London Prodigal is a city comedy set in London in which a prodigal son learns the error of his ways. The play was printed in 1605 under the name of William Shakespeare. As it is a King's Men play, Shakespeare may have had a minor role in its creation, and certainly would have acted in it, but the play's workaday style does not read like his, and the title page attribution is almost certainly fraudulent.
