The Hole

The Hole is a 2001 thriller movie directed by Nick Hamm from a novel by Guy Burt. It is known as After the Hole in USA and Secluded Empty Space in South Africa.

Plot summary

On a break from their British private school four teenagers are locked in an abandoned, underground bomb shelter. The plot twists and turns making the viewer unaware of the exact truth of the situation. In the end it is revealed that Elizabeth Dunn has locked them in the hole in an effort to make Mike Steel fall for her. It all goes badly wrong as she allows people to die and murders people to cover up the truth. Even though her psychologist finds out the truth in the end, Elizabeth manages to frame someone else for the incident.
