The Freelance Hairdresser

The Freelance Hairdresser is part of the "novelty" side of bootlegging. Probably his most famous creation is "Marshall's Been Snookered" which featured a vocal by rapper Eminem over a ragtime tune used by the BBC as the theme for its snooker programmes. Later this "theme" was followed up by "Marshall's Been Done To Death" using various UK TV themes segued together as a backing track. A similar "comedy" bootlegger is Diffusion who put a Craig David vocal over the theme from 70's BBC children's programme Bagpuss. The Freelance Hairdresser's name is a parody of more "credible" legger The Freelance Hellraiser.
