The Final Cartridge Iii

The Final Cartridge III was a popular extension cartridge which was created for the Commodore 64 and Commodore 128, produced by Riska B.V. Home & Personal Computers. Its main features were a fast loader (both disk and tape), a machine code monitor, additional BASIC commands, a reset button, and a freezer. The freezer functionality allowed one to save the state of the computer to disk, so that games could be saved and resumed later. Other features included a graphical desktop interface that made use of the WIMP metaphor, a printer utility for screen or data dumps, a notepad function to serve as a scratchpad, a simple calculator, and a disk utility program.
