The Dwarves

The Dwarves are a punk rock band formed in the mid-1980s by Paul Cafaro aka Blag Dahlia aka Blag the Ripper aka Blag Jesus aka Blag History Month aka Blag Plague. They are notable for their violent live performances and nudity-laden album artwork. A publicity stunt in 1996 which untruthfully claimed that guitarist He Who Cannot Be Named was killed got the band kicked off their label, Sub Pop. The Dwarves went on to record two full length albums on Epitaph Recordsand one with Reptilian Records. The Dwarves have endured many band member changes throughout the years. Most memorable members include He Who Cannot Be Named, Vadge Moore, Rex Everything, Salt Peter and The Fresh Prince of Darkness. The band's latest release, Must Die, is out now on Sympathy For The Record Industry.
