The Daily Nation is an independent newspaper is the most influential newspaper in Kenya with a daily circulation of about 205,000 copies http://www.nationaudio.com/kenyapolitics/info/nationmedia.html. The total readership is likely to be higher as each copy is read a large number of peole. It is East Africa's largest newspaper. A documentary film released in 2000, directed by Hillie Molenaar and Joop van Wijk, gives a closeup view of the newspaper, 55 minutes, color.
