Character Appearances': Shannon Casull, Raquel Casull, Pacifica Casull, Christopher Armalite Summary: While in their wagon, the Casulls get attacked by a mob of Mauzel followers, who state that Pacifica must die for the sake of the world. Shannon easily defeats them and then gets surprised by the appearance of Chris, who leaves without any sign of hostility. The Casulls proceed to the village where some relatives live. Pacifica takes a bath once they get there, and her aunt asks for help to get some eggs; Pacifica agrees. Eventually it becomes clear that Pacifica has been tricked by her aunt who has taken her to a church where a Mauzel Atenator is waiting. Noticing Pacifica's disappearance, Shannon and Raquel start searching for her. While searching, Raquel encounters Chris again, and recommends the village's dumplings. Raquel gets to the church and knocks down the doors while the priest is trying to kill Pacifica with magic. She when proceeds to bounce the Mauzel Atenator around like a rag doll with magic. Raquel then gets a little carried away and levels the church. Shannon arrives and agrees with Pacifica that Raquel went overboard by destroying the church. The Casulls leave and Chris arrives and tells the Atenator that he will take care of the Scrapped Princess. The scene changes to the Casulls around a campfire where they are debating the use of magic on their food. Raquel loses the argument. Raquel then goes to bed and Shannon and Pacifica talk about old days, and what will happen when Pacifica turns 16. Chris suddenly appears and says "please die" before attacking. A cool fight scene ensues. Raquel wakes up and asks Chris if he had already tried the dumplings. Chris, realizing he is at a disadvantage with two to fight, declares his intention to withdraw. Before he leaves he asks why Shannon and Raquel protect Pacifica, who is destined to destroy the world. Shannon answers by throwing a dagger at Chris, who catches it. Then Shannon describes how he was named and that he will protect Pacifica even if Pacifica is meant to destroy the world. Chris replies by throwing the dagger into the post Pacifica is leaning against and walks off. Shannon and Raquel then remark that it will be a challenge to defeat Chris. Later Pacifica states that if she really is meant to destroy the world that she wants Shannon to kill her.
