The Box (Band)

The Box was a band from Montreal that, like Rational Youth and Men Without Hats, fell into the alternative category, yet they had some catchy tunes during the mid-1980's. The ones that were perhaps the most frequently played on Canadian radio during that time are as follows: From 1984: 'Must I Always Remember'
'Walk Away' From 1985: 'L'Affaire D'Emoutier'
'My Dreams Of You' From 1986: 'Ordinary People' From 1987: 'Closer Together'
'Crying Out Loud For Love' Unfortunately, like most Canadian alternative groups from this time period (late 70's to mid-80's), many of their songs and albums were not 'mass distributed' to the public outside of Canada. Thus, a lot of the songs listed above are VERY rare when it comes to one being able to procure them via 'usual' means (i.e. stores, as well as Internet auctions and other sites).
