The Bird Man

The Birdman is a character in Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" series. He is the leader of the Mud People, a primitive and good-hearted tribe of people living in the Mid-Lands. His name derives from his ability to communicate with birds. He is also the Mud People's most direct connection with the spirits of the dead.
