The Annexe

The Annexe was the original title of the diary of Anne Frank. It was the name of the house in which they lived. (This was the original English title. The Dutch title of the book based on her diary, and the name of the house where they were in hiding, is "Het Achterhuis", literally meaning "the backhouse", or "annex" of the house.)
