The Adam And Joe Show

The Adam and Joe Show is a British comedy show, written and presented by Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish, which ran for four series on Channel 4 television. Often described as one of the definitive pop culture parodies of recent times, it included numerous send ups of films such as The English Patient and Titanic as well as TV shows such as Friends and ER. The principle form of these lampoons was a simple form of marionette using stuffed toys. It was these toys along with A&J's Star Wars parody which made the show so popular and memorable. Adam and Joe began working on humorous material during their time at Westminster School together. They are sometimes involved with the Idler, a six-monthly literary magazine. More recently Adam and Joe created a series for The BBC called Adam and Joe Go Tokyo.
