Th' Legendary Shack Shakers

Th' Legendary Shack Shakers are a psychobilly band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in the late 1990's. Founding member Col. J.D. Wilkes is the band's vocalist and also plays the harmonica. Musical maverick JoeBuck joined the band in the early 21st Century and played all the bass guitar, guitar, and drums on the group's 2003 release, Cock-A-Doodle-Dont. Wilkes is noted for his wild stage antics, which have been compared to those of Iggy Pop and David Byrne. JoeBuck left the band on bad terms in late 2003, and is currently touring and recording with Hank Williams III. Current members of Th' Legendary Shack Shakers are Wilkes, Mark Robertson-bass, David Lee-guitar, Jerry Roe-drums. The band regularly tours with The Reverend Horton Heat.
