Texas Leafcutter Ant

The Texas Leafcutter Ant (Atta texana) is a fungus-farming ant species mainly found in Texas and a few other southwest states in the US. It harvests leaves from over 200 types of plants and is considered a major pest to the state's agricultural interests.
