TeenpactTeenPactis a non profit Christian organization that began in 1994. It is a comprehensive leadership experience that challenges students to grow both personally and spiritually. During TeenPact, students enjoy meeting and interacting with other Christian young people and leaders from across their state. Students come away from TeenPact with a realization of their spiritual capacity as young people and a desire to change America for Christ. The first step in the TeenPact Leadership School is the State Capitol Four-Day Class for ages 13-18. Here students learn about the political process and the basics of state government. Even if the student has no prior interest in government, he gains an understanding of his responsibility as a citizen of his state and nation. At TeenPact State Capitol Classes, students practice leadership through hands-on experience. Students analyze public policy from a Biblical Worldview and learn to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5) Daily praise and worship in the state capitol, as well as prayer for those in authority, keep the focus on Christ. TeenPact's goal is to instill students with the skills and passion necessary to impact the nation for Jesus Christ. The purpose of TeenPact is to promote citizenship and leadership among young people. (Specifically highschoolers) While primarily geared towards homeschooled students TeenPact has broadened their horizions and vision in the past 10 years and now has teenagers from many walks of life as well as college students involved. What started with a few students in the capitol building in Atlanta has now spread across the US and even as far as Hawaii.
