Ted Henter

Ted Henter is an American computer programmer. He studied engineering, but learned computer programming and started his own business after becoming blind in a car accident in 1978. During the 1980s he invented the software for Job Access With Speech, and co-founded the Henter-Joyce corporation, which later merged with other companies to form Freedom Scientific. Henter is currently on the board of directors of Freedom Scientific.
