Technical University Of Opole

Technical University of Opole (Polish name: Politechnika Opolska) is a university located in Opole, Poland. The university was founded in the year 1959 as a consultative branch of Silesian University of Technology. In 1965 it became an independent university known as the Higher School of Engineering in Opole. The name Technical University of Opole is used since 1996. The university has 450 lecturers and over 12000 students. There are five faculties:
  • Faculty of Civil Engineering
  • Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
  • Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automatics
  • Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy
  • Faculty of Management and Production Engineering
